We’re beginning to see the newest incarnations of the Formula One machinery that will be vying for the world title in 2012 and the latest comers are from McLaren, Force India and Ferrari. Joining the Caterham, in regards to the new rule changes, the Force India and Ferrari have also gone with a stepped nose profile, while the Ferrari is also incorporating double air intakes. It certainly stands in stark contrast to the rather bland and almost unassuming McLaren that was revealed. I’m really looking forward to what Red Bull bring out, as Adrian Newey surely must have a trick or two up his sleeve and it will be interesting to see which way he goes, stepped nose or not. So far, the tally is 3-1 in favor of this new nose.
